This past week, a “giant of post-war American art,” Cy Twombly died in Rome at the age of 83. Curious about what his life and death has to do with your?
Twombly was inspired by a wide range of influences, including Mallarme, Rumi, Pound and Rilke, he paid little attention to his critics, found his own artistic voice and followed his muse.
