An intimate, supportive community of like-minded musicians so you'll have the extra accountability needed to stay on track.

Custom-built in-depth video courses with step-by-step instructions to level up your materials without the overwhelm.

Musicians On Track is intimate: the program is capped at 12 members to ensure everyone gets both individual focused coaching attention and the experience of dynamic peer learning in a supportive group culture.

Each month we’ll meet on Zoom for. . .

  • Monthly Group Seminar: Each month we’ll tackle a key topic head-on, with ample time devoted to discussion and Q&A. Monthly topics will range from goal setting, values, and time management, to motivation, mindset tools, and more.
  • 2 Coaching Sessions: Every member will meet twice each month in small group cohorts (6 musicians in each) where you’ll get expert coaching to work through the next action item on your plate—to keep you going forward to reach your goals.
  • The Marketing Masterclass: In this monthly session you can get expert feedback on your promo materials and learn from the examples of your peers. Here’s where we can fine-tune your Bio, email pitches, grant proposals, CV, and cover letters.

PLUS you’ll get  . . .

The On Track Training Videos

You’ll have 24/7 access to my new Get the Gig and my popular Land the Job video courses with step-by-step instructions, real-world examples, and worksheets.

These self-paced courses are your added advantage, helping you create and refine your materials without becoming overwhelmed. Each course is delivered in a series of short video lessons designed to keep you motivated and on track.

Get the Gig Content

A series of 5 modules designed to help you create . . .
  • A Bio that clearly communicates your best, most authentic self and works as a call to action to get readers to click ‘play.’
  • Publicity photos that spark connection and trust. Learn the secrets to getting better photos so your next shoot is your best.
  • A Promo video that gives viewers a real sense of both the full range of your artistry in action and the force behind why you do what you do.
  • A Website design brief for creating a website you’re truly proud of. We’ll cover content, layout, fonts, colors, graphics, platform, and more.
  • Email pitches that work. You’ll learn the 5 pitch essentials needed to connect with presenters so you can book more of the gigs you truly want.

Land the Job Content

A series of 4 modules to help you develop . . .
  • A CV that elevates your most relevant strengths while highlighting exactly what distinguishes you from the 200 other applicants.
  • Cover letters that make you stand out, with no chance of being tossed at first glance into a pile of formulaic letters.
  • Teaching Philosophy and Diversity Statements that clearly communicate your core values and how you incorporate those values into everything you do.
  • A Musician Teaching Bio that showcases who you really are as a teacher and what fuels your best work—so that you can attract more of your ideal students.

Of course, I cannot promise that the Musicians On Track program will make your career dreams come true. It’s not a miracle cure, and no amount of magic pixie dust will produce the results you want if you aren’t willing to put in the time and effort.

But here’s what I CAN promise: if you dedicate yourself to doing the work consistently, showing up for yourself week after week fully willing to try new approaches to managing your time and your mindset, you will see massive change. This is your opportunity to find out what you’re truly capable of.

Working with Angela was a transformative experience. I learned to level up the way I speak and write about the projects I am excited about. Shortly after completing the program, I was able to immediately help my organization win a sizable grant for a passion project. This program is one of the top 3 most valuable investments I have made. My only regret is not participating sooner.

“We wanted more polished press materials, new concert proposal ideas and to move beyond cookie cutter bios! Angela carefully dissected our press materials and helped us choose photos and words that allowed audiences to get to know us. She gave us new ideas on presenting concerts and directions on best pitch and negotiation practices. Now we have new concerts (even in a pandemic) and press materials that really reflect who we are as artists and human beings.”

The McCain Duo: Artina and Martin McCain

Through Angela’s process of creating clear and compelling promotional materials, I gained clarity of purpose about what I offer. During the pandemic, I launched my podcast, started online and live concerts series, made valuable connections, and booked concerts and presentations in 5 states and 4 countries — work I might not have pursued had it not been for Angela’s coaching. Wherever you are in your musical career, Angela can help you get to the next stage!

About Our Community

Let me be upfront here.

The #1 priority for me is setting up the best environment for each member of the collective to thrive individually, and for that, we need to thrive as a group. This requires us all to be on the same page.

By adhering to these principles, each member of the community helps cultivate an environment of acceptance, belonging, and trust necessary for true growth.

We vow to let go of any negative, competitive thinking that keeps us trapped in a cycle of comparison and self-doubt.

We treat each other with kindness, generosity, and respect. We see, hear, and accept each other for who we are while giving each other room to grow into our best selves.

We embrace an openhearted welcoming of differences, knowing every single one of us has something unique and valuable to bring to the table.

Diversity. Equity. Inclusion. Belonging.

These aren’t just words to me. They make up the cornerstones of how we will build this creative community, and cultivate the energy that helps members grow beyond their perceived potential.

My aim is to help you to become the best version of yourself, and through your music and your example, to shape a better future for all. Let’s do this together.

If you can stand by these principles and are willing to give it your all, let’s talk.

“Working with Angela gave me critical support and guidance at a pivotal moment in my career.  Defining my weekly goals with Angela, one by one, seamlessly, they became a reality! Angela taught me how to navigate the tricky ins and outs of self-management and to create new habits to manifest my dreams. Thank you, Angela, for your consistent, positive outlook and expertise!”

Carol Gimbel

violist

I came to Angela’s program to update my materials and get my career on track and I walked away with a job promotion, a brand new side business, and completing the biggest film scoring project of my career (along with negotiating a budget to match as well!).

Trevor Bumgarner

composer

“Angela helped me look honestly at why I was pursuing music and where I was headed. Through the program and with Angela’s constructive feedback, I crafted an artist statement and in the process gained an unprecedented degree of clarity on who I am as an artist. That clarity has been energizing my creative work and has had the additional, practical benefit of bolstering grant applications.”

FAQs

“When does the program start?”

The spring edition of Musicians On Track is a 5-month program that will run Jan.—May 2023.

“What if I can’t attend a session?”

Each meeting will be recorded and you’ll have access to these, usually the next day. If you have a question about your materials and cannot attend a session, you can submit your question in advance by email and I’ll do my best to answer it in the session so you can access the recording afterwards.

"5 months is a big commitment. Can I join for just a portion of this?"

My years of experience have taught me that people need time to make substantive change. Real transformation takes time and effort.

Your progress will depend on how fast and efficient you are and what state your mindset, materials, and career are in now.

So, if you can’t commit to the full course, this is not the program for you.

“How is Musicians On Track organized?”

Over the 9 months, Musicians On Track meets 4 times per month: 1 seminar session, 2 small group coaching sessions, and 1 marketing masterclass.

In addition, you’ll have 24/7 access to a series of focused, in-depth training videos. These are meant to help you deep dive into whatever promotional materials you are working on so you can make the most of the live coaching sessions.

“How much time should this take me each week?”

Plan on an hour a day for the Musicians On Track program. I recommend scheduling a consistent time each day to build a regular habit and promote accountability. Trying to do “marathon sessions” doesn’t work. Just like practice, it’s consistent effort over time that makes real progress possible.

“Do I need to do all the training videos?”

NOPE.

These are for you to use in conjunction with our coaching however best fits your needs. They are a resource to help you with any of the promotional materials you’re working on and can be accessed as needed. I’ll recommend specific videos for you, so don’t worry if you aren’t sure where to start.

“How do I know if On Track is the right fit for me?”

If after reading the above, you aren’t sure, let’s hop on a Zoom call and talk. Schedule a time HERE.

“Is it worth the investment?”

Maybe the best way for me to answer this is to ask you . . .

What would it be worth to you to know for certain that you’re finally giving your music career your all?

What would it be worth to find out what you’re truly capable of?

What’s it worth to experience stepping up to the plate and becoming who you’re meant to be, and letting the rest of the world experience that person?

“I came to Angela hoping to improve my promotional materials and land more national presentations in piano pedagogy. Not only did I achieve those goals, I learned concrete strategies to overcome self-doubt and increase my motivation. As a result, I found the confidence to start my online business teaching group piano. Angela is razor-sharp; she will perceive whatever is holding you back and walk you right through it. If you have a vision, Angela will get you there!”

Laura Amoriello

Ithaca College

“Angela has helped me enormously in conceptualizing new projects: with how to plan, brainstorm, and take action to make them a reality. Her approach is holistic: she combines a deep knowledge of promotion, business, and marketing with an artistic and emotional side. She hears you as an artist and understands how you think and feel—and is committed to your artistic goals.”

André Carvalho

bassist/composer

“I recommend working with Angela to anyone who wants to improve the skills that are required in order to exist in this world as a musician. The tools that she’s taught me will stick with me for the rest of my life.”

Esin Gunduz
