For many, this is the third week of the new reality. And I’m hearing from a lot of folks that they’re in a rut of inertia and anxiety. So today I’m tackling the #1 issue now for Musicians: How to self-manage through crisis.
With concerts cancelled, projects delayed, and schools closed, I think we can all agree it’s a Sh*tshow.
It’s a struggle to summon the motivation and focus to practice.
Let alone plan for the future when everything’s been upended.
We’re all navigating through fear, overwhelm, and uncertainty about what’s next.
The cabin fever and isolation only add to the problem. And the news ramps up the panic.
We may try to distract ourselves by ODing on social media or binge-watching Netflix.
But we still end up worrying about our careers and our future.
Wondering what we can do to come out of this stronger and more resilient.
Is there a realistic way to self-manage through crisis?
In brainstorming how I could best help you now, here’s what I came up with, the . . .
Beyond Talent Master Class
A FREE live career coaching meeting where we’ll do some laser-coaching with several volunteers on their specific situations, questions, or concerns. Time permitting, we’ll take other questions that arise as well.
I’ll be sure to pull gems from the feedback I give every volunteer so you can apply them to your own situation. We’ll do some creative problem solving and brainstorming to help you identify the next steps you can take. That way, you can find both the stability and the forward motion most needed now.
But let’s be honest, there’s no magic bullet. We’re all in uncharted territory.
And if you’re like me, you may be tired of seeing promotions for webinars and training programs promising the sun, the moon, and the stars.
Instead of fantasies, here’s something real I CAN promise:
That I will show up fully and do my best to help you take a step forward, no matter where you’re at or how stuck you may feel.
We’ll meet online on Zoom (where else?) so I can see your smiling faces and we can have that precious sense of community—because we truly ARE all in this together.
The first Beyond Talent Master Class is this Thursday April 9, at 11 am ET
Reserve your spot. It’s FREE and registration is required: Click Here
Together, let’s work out how you can manage forward.
To help make this as equitable as possible, I’m asking people who want one of the few “hot seat” coaching slots to let me know in advance. Interested? Just fill in the form.
Stay strong: we’re all in this together,
