As a career advisor and consultant, I help people clarify their

goals, define priorities, and break down large projects into

manageable pieces. In short, I’m in the dream business—with a

focus on the practical—as in, what needs to be done to make

    YOUR dream come true?

People often ask what it takes to succeed. Beyond talent, it

takes the courage to dream, the power to plan, and the will to

get things done. It’s about more than your job or your career, it’s

about the kind of life you want, and the person you want to

    become.

Author of the acclaimed "Beyond Talent: Creating a Successful Career in Music," Angela Myles Beeching has helped thousands of musicians build successful careers. She has led workshops at Eastman, Juilliard, Peabody, Colburn, and Oberlin Conservatories. She has also been a featured speaker at conferences for the National Association of Schools of Music, the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. Ms. Beeching’s articles on entrepreneurship, networking, and marketing materials have appeared in Inside Arts, The Strad, Classical Singer, and Chamber Music magazines.

Angela co-hosts the Network of Music Career Development Officers, the international organization dedicated to advancing career readiness programs at conservatories and universities. She also directs the Center for Music Entrepreneurship at Manhattan School of Music. Previously, Ms. Beeching directed the Career Services Center at New England Conservatory and, as consultant to Indiana University, launched Project Jumpstart, an innovative student-centered and student-driven music career development program.

A Fulbright Scholar and Harriet Hale Woolley grant recipient, Ms. Beeching holds a doctorate in cello performance from Stony Brook University. She lives gluten-free in Boston and New York and her vices include an addiction to hard-boiled detective novels.
